It seems that everyday I learn to love Wilton Manors and everything that gay fort lauderdale has to offer more and more. Â I mean, not that i didn’t love it before, but i mean like LOVE it now.
So I was picking up my lunch today at Juice Blendz across from my office building. Â I have to say, I’m in love with their veggie sandwich thing…I’ve had it 3 days in a row this week. Â Yea, I have a problem.
Anyways, my favorite part of that particular plaza is the shopping. Â I may not be able to shop for myself, but the men in my life appreciate the fact that I just love to buy stuff. Â So I went next-door to Bottoms & Tops, who was having a phenomenal sale might I add, and I couldn’t help but start to make some very obvious observations.
Watching the men shop in this place was like watching the movie Mean Girls. Â First of all, every time someone walked in it was like the world stopped. Â EVERYONE (like the 2 other people in the joint) paused from their shopping and just stared for a good 10 seconds. Â It was as if they were silently judging.
Then I witness the Mean Girls banter. Â I know my friends and I are harsh to each other, but telling your “friend” that a shirt you picked out is “an assault on all five senses,” just seems mean…Funny and clever, but mean nonetheless.
Unfortunately, at this point it was time for me to head back to work. Â I was really kind of upset because I was having a good time feeling like I was a part of an awesome Lindsay Lohan movie. Â Until next time.
