This is pretty damn amazing. Â One of gay Wilton Manors’s very own, Mike Preihs, recently embarked on a non-stop trek across the fifth largest desert in the world, or Asia’s largest desert, The Gobi.
On May 25, a team of 20 will trek the entire 1000 miles of the Mongolian Gobi Desert alongside the Khongoryn Els. Â If you’re wondering what would possess someone to do this, here are you reasons:
- – To document and interact with the indigenous lives, far removed from our own
- – To provide the knowledge and experience to enable all aspiring individuals to succeed in adventure and exploration and inspire the future course of their lives
- -To produce an authentic documentary film that depicts genuine adventure and interaction between the indigenous people of the Gobi and the expedition team
Mike is a travel enthusiast who spent most of his career as a pilot for a major airline. Â Mike has a degree in Cultural Anthropology from Purdue University and says that expeditions like these give him a whole new perspective on life.
Wilton Drive Online would like to wish Mike great luck on his expedition and safe travels. Â We look forward to your return here in gay Wilton Manors!
