Sometimes I sit and think to myself, “Meagan, it’s time to get those smarticles flowing in that head of yours and read a book.” Â I promise you, I’m not as dense as I look.
I was looking through my library, be it small but it’s still a library, and came across the book “Junior” by Macaulay Culkin. Â This is one of my favorite books of all time.
It’s not a long read and it’s not a hard read, but it’s interesting. Â Macaulay does a really good job of blending together the lines of fiction and non-fiction. Â At times you’re really not sure what is anecdotal and what is just made up for fun. Â He is really random and inserts thoughts, curse words and statistics out of nowhere.
Some of the book chronicles his relationship with his estranged father, his stint as a drug addict and some of the weird sexual escapades he’s had. Â I’m not judging. Â I love me some Macaulay.
Anyways, all I’m saying is that if any of you out there in gay Fort Lauderdale get the urge to read a book…read this one. Â The END!
