French Catholic Church to Pray Against Gay Marriage

The French Catholic Church plans to “Pray for France”  in hopes to mobilize and in other words Pray the Gay Marriage away. It is a prayer that will be read in all churches in France that is a revival of a practice decreed by King Louis XIII in 1638 that dwindled after World War II.

This so called event will be held on August 15th as the Catholic Church tries to be pro-active (in their view)with the French Government and it’s cabinet members as marriage equality is gaining traction and being discussed to legalize with a future vote.

It should also be noted that a majority of the population in France is in favor and supports marriage equality.
