Salt Lake City NBC Station won't air "The New Normal"

It look’s like the Mormon church owned KSL NBC TV station in Salt Lake city will not air the new sitcom comedy “The New Normal”.

“For our brand, this program feels inappropriate on several dimensions, especially during family viewing time,” Jeff Simpson, CEO of KSL’s parent company, Bonneville International, told The Salt Lake Tribune.

The show deals with a gay couple, played by Andrew Rannells and Justin Bartha, having a child with a surrogate portrayed by Georgia King. Ryan Murphy of Glee fame is its cocreator. It is set to debut on September 11th on what we hope is on all other NBC stations nationwide. It’s just another sad example of the ever so hateful Mormon church and their negative views towards the gay community.
