A controversial blog post last September asking “Could drag queens be better role models for our kids than Disney princesses?” went viral. It inspired different opinions everywhere from critical thinkers from different walks of life.
However, the newly launched pop culture and lifestyle digital network Fusion decided to test this provocative theory.
This week, “RuPaul’s Drag Race” season three runner-up Manila Luzon had a fun day out with Univision’s Sabado Gigante Kid’s host Joselyn Molina. They both took some time off from their busy schedule to hang out and see how things would go.
Not surprisingly, the two had a blast! They started off by coloring together with a bit of casual conversation. Then, they went shopping at the Las Olas Boulevard, practiced their catwalk and eventually wound up at the famous drag queen dinner show, Lips, located in Fort Lauderdale. With plenty of energy left to burn, Molina was invited to perform onstage with Manila to the queen’s new single, “Bring It”.
