Screen-shot-2013-05-10-at-4.00.40-PM-630x480Even before the weekend comes, there are a couple of events to make this week in South Florida exciting.

Tuesday: November 19

Third Eye Blind

During the 90s, Third Eye Blind ruled the top 40 radio airplay with songs about how much everything sucks after a relationship and their “semi-charmed” life. Although they haven’t had much airplay over the past decade, these rockers still possess the soft vocals which earned the a legion of fans and during the final days of the 90s. Despite their absence on the charts, they’ve returned with releases like “Out of the Vein” and “Ursa Major”. Catch them live, 7PM at the Revolution Live, 100 SW 3rd Ave, Fort Lauderdale, 33312.

Wednesday: November 20

Fear Up Harsh

Torture is also known as “Enhanced Interrogation Techniques”. Fear Up Harsh is a phrase used by the military to mean the same and this new drama explores what happens to a Medal of Honor winner when his dishonourable past starts to catch up to him. When a former comrade-in-arms appears, the Iraq War veteran’s perfect life starts to fall apart. This play, which received critical praise during its work-in-progress presentation at the Arsht Center’s 2013 Miami Made Festival is a definite must-see!

See it 7:30PM at the Adrienne Arsht Center, 1300 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, 33132.
